Schools
At Timnath Ranch North, students will attend schools that are within the Poudre School District. Children in grades K-5 will attend Bethke Elementary School, junior high students will attend Preston Junior High School, and high school students will attend Fossil Ridge High School. Bethke Elementary School is Poudre School District's newest elementary school and it sits in the very center of Timnath Ranch North. Opened fall of 2008, Bethke is a Core Knowledge school. Core Knowledge supports a grade-by-grade core of common learning to ensure a sound and fair elementary education for all students. Bethke is the first school nationwide to receive LEED's Gold Medal Building of America Award. The United States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design's green building rating system encourages sustainable green building and development practices. Constructed in part with recycled materials, and conserving an ample amount of energy, Bethke Elementary will be used as a teaching instrument for students to learn the latest in recycling and energy conservation. LEED is the nationally accepted standard for design and construction of high performance, energy efficient buildings.
