Timnath, Colorado
The Town of Timnath is located in desirable Northern Colorado within Larimer County, just southeast of Fort Collins and approximately one-half mile east of the Harmony Road and Interstate 25 interchange. Timnath is a small farming community founded in 1882, when it was also a hub for fur trading.

The Town of Timnath is on the verge of unrecognizable transformation as it welcomes growth with open arms. In 2005, Timnath’s population was around 240 residents and that number is slated to grow exponentially to 30,000. Timnath’s growth area is also set to grow by 27 square miles.

A few of Timnath’s future plans include a new Poudre River Bridge that will become the entrance to Timnath, widening Harmony road to four lanes with a center median from I-25 to Weld County Road 257, a new bypass road from current Main Street to Harmony, a total downtown renovation to create a Timnath Old Town, and the Timnath Reservoir recreation area which includes extensive trails and non-motorized surface rights.
